Default Upgrading to W2K3 SP2

All,
We currently have NG AI R55 HFA 15 CLuster (LB/HA) running on straight W2K3, No Service packs. We intend to upgrade the OS to the Lasted W2K3 SP2. Has anybody had any issues with SP2?

SP2 appears to not be officially supported on R55:
Check Point Software: Supported Platforms for Enterprises (NG with Application Intelligence R55)

I suggest confirming this with CP before you start as SP2 on 2003 makes many major changes.

Not supported.

No for the next question, why are you using windows for firewall gateways?
I strongly recommend using SPLAT for the gateways even is you want to use windows for the SmartCenter.

Like chillyjim said, you should definitely have a look at SPLAT, it's very easy to install and configure, providing a secure starting point (saving lots of work securing windows). You also patch OS and FW at the same time, etc. New features arrive here first, has features other platforms lack, etc.

With the help you can get on this forum and a bit of time on your part, you should be comfortable with it very quick.
