Hi CPUG Community, Running a test mode upgrade from NG FP3 to NGX R62 and now trying run upgrade_import but I can't transfer the files to the NGX R62 SecurePlatform box via ftp. I have new policy that allows all connections to the gateway (..Any, Any), and the smarttracker shows the client ftp connection is being accepted but somehow I am not connecting? Is there any way I can transfer the upgrade_import files to the secureplatform box via ftp? Thank you. Jemma X

You should be able to place the file onto an ftp server and then use the ftp client on the SPLAT to get the file. If I remember correctlty then SPLAT doesn't have an FTP Server on it so you can't push a file but you should be able to pull the file to the box.

Hi, I don't know if I'm being a tad silly here but I can't seem to get the upgrade_import to work. I log on as admin to secureplatform box, then type expert mode and enter the login for this. I copied the export file using secureplatforms ftp client to a temp directory (/temp/temp) and change permissions for both upgrade_import and .tgz export file to allow for execution permissions (-rwxrwx--x) for all (chmod a+e filename). Yet the error I receieve is "upgrade_import: cannot execute binary file". Please advise. Thank you. Jemma X
