Default Upgrading from NOKIA to UTM-1

Hello

I'm migrating from one nokia appliance with checkpoint NG R55 with smatcenter on it, to 2 UTM-1 box with chekpoint NGX R65 with a windows Smatcenter running R65

how can I export my conf from the nokia to the UTM-1 ?
which files do I have to take ?

There isn't a particular easy way to migrate the config over, however I personally would build the Windows on R55 and then use the cp_merge tool to migrate the objects and rules over. You use the fwm dbexport to export the users and then fwm dbimport to import the users. You will need to manually create the user groups before importing the users. Once the R55 Windows SMARTCenter is complete then can upgrade that too R65.

You will need to manually configure the UTM appliances, however this will be only be the interfaces, which will change anyway, hostnames, again that will change, the only thing that stay same is routing table/dns.

The important CHeck Point info is on the SMARTCenter not the UTM-1 appliances
