Default Removing a VPN-1 Edge/Embedded Gateway

Hello,
I am looking at moving one of my firewalls to another location soon. Presently we have two firewalls, and one management server. What is the best way to "disconnect" the firewall from the management server, so I can build it from ground up again at the new location?

You can either

A. Just delete the gateway's object and create a new one or

B. Just build the new machine and reset the SIC on the SmartCenter

I normally do "B"
