Default confused about upgrade_export version

hey

im a bit confused about wich version o wich shoudl i run on an upgrade

i have a R60 and will upgrade to R62

i should download the "upgrade to R62" tool and run this upgrade_export in R60 and then upgrade_import on R62??

is this correct?

That is correct.

I only have the R65 docs here but the CheckPoint_R65_UpgradeGuide.pdf says:

Quote:
1. On the production machine, download the latest NGX R65 upgrade tools, and
transfer them to $FWDIR/bin/upgrade_tools.
(You need the latest NGX R65 upgrade tools to perform the export operation.)
2. On the production machine, run upgrade_export.
You can get the lastest here:

There's a section for R62...

i just performed an upgrade and the config went from to the other with no probs
