Good Morning, I have set up a test server running SPLAT and R65. When I set this up in a VM environment, I was able to change each network connection topology to either external or internal connection. However, now that I have it running on a live box, I don’t seem to be able to perform this change. Any ideas? I have enabled the internal and external NIC and have given them both IP information under SPLAT. The topology search picks them up but still not able to change. Thanks in advance for any help.

Does this also happen to newly created Check Point Gateway objects or just to the ones you created in your VMWare? Try stopping and restarting your SC. I once had a database integrity problem which could be solved this way. Best regards, Danny Trommer CCSA/CCSE/CCSE+

Hey Chilly, Sorry to sound so stupid, but how do I check this? I have been into all the property pages of the firewal object and there doesn't sem to be a place to check it. When I check under Version, OS and Type, is is listed as R65, Secure Platform and VPN-1 Power, respectively Also, if I find that it is a host, how do I convert it to a gateway? Many Thanks, Ghostie
