Default Upgrading from R55 to R65. Doubt about license

Hi all.
I am going to update an R55 cluster to R65. We will use new hardware for fresh installation but I'm not sure about something.

1) Do I need to update R55 to the latest patch available? Don't know if exist or where I should find it...

2) Do I need to use the "upgrade_export" from R55 tool and the "upgrade_import" of the R65 new firewall?

3) I would like to do this in an sort of lab environment. Do I need to upgrade the license or could I use the evaluation one? (This is a very important question for me).

Thanks to every body.

For the upgrade, no, but if you are going to stay with R55 for a while you should.
