Default Upgrading R60 to R62 - will SecureClient R54 work?
Hi All, I'm upgrading from R60 to R62 in a couple of weeks and I noticed in the R62 Release Notes, p.9 under "Supported Gateways and Clients" it mentions support for SecureClient AI R56 and above. We have hundreds of VPN users running R54. Unfortunately we don't have a lab to test in. Do any of you know if VPN R54 works with R62 on the gateways/mgt stn? Thanks.

Chris,

pretty sure you will be ok with this config as Checkpoint is usually ok at allowing remote users to connect using 'older' Secureclient / Securemote. The wording of R56 and above would make me think twice about doing it before testing it though. Sure someone on here will have a definite answer for you before you take the plunge.

It isn't supported, but it does work.
