| Hi, We have a clusters pair of Nokia 330 boxes running NG 55 AI, IPSO 3.8 I need to change the External IP address on the cluster. The licences for the pair of Nokia units are registered using their internal IP addresses, which are not changing. I have listed below the steps I believe I need to perform to complete the change, is there any 'gotcha's' I've missed ? 1/ Logon to each firewall unit in turn as admin via Voyager, create backup of each firewall config. 2/ Got to Interfaces, add new IP – input new interface address in new range on External interface. 3/ Delete old External IP address , apply and save. 4/ logon to firewall cluster using cadmin 5/ goto Clustering Setup, enter new External cluster ip address 6/ Goto Static Routes, change Default route to point to new External IP gateway 7/ save and apply 8/ Logon to Smartcenter 9/ Create Database Revison control 10/ Goto Network Objects, Checkpoint, firewall cluster object 11/ goto fw1 node, topology, change External IP to match 2 above 12/ repeat for fw2 node 13/ goto Firewall Cluster object, topology, change External IP to match 5 above. 14/ Edit Nodes that use NAT to use new External ip address 15/ save and push policy From what I have seen in the manuals, this should be the correct process, is there anything else I need to be aware of ? Any help gratefully received ! Cheers |
