problem in distributed installation

hi,
I have installed windows smart centre in one machine with 10.0.0.1 ip , and firewall module on other machine with ip 10.0.0.2.
external in firewall module as 192.168.1.1

when i opened the smarcentre and created new policies and while pushing i was getting different errors.

first one is "installation failed : reason .SIC Protocol error", so i have created an sic name in both firewall and smartcentre machine, the error which has come after is different, "installtion failed.reason.TCP port 189xxxxx"
reinstalled smartcentre and the third error was totally different....
It was "Installation failed.Reason.add licsense to firewall through smart update."

I am able to ping both ways......10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2 & viceversa.....

I was told that we can use all the features in checkpoint with evaluation version.

i need to push the policies somehow.........Kindly let me how to proceed with.....

Finally SIC communication is happening and last error which has occured now is No sufficient licenses installed for "filter:.
operation ended with errrors.
Any one have come across this error.

Tried with installing in windows environment for both firewall and smartcentre.
now its working fine.
