Default Failed to connect the module

I upgraded from R61 to R62, I am getting this error when I try to re-establish SIC. The steps I have taken are:
1. cpstop, fwm sic_reset
2. cpstart
3. verify everything is good [communication to the three FW's is untrusted]
4. From SPLAT NGX R60 244, web int, reinit SIC [never get a verify]
5. From FW manager, SmartDash, reset SIC on FW object
6. Message "failed to connect the module"

Thanks

ChucK

Forget "fwm sic_reset"

on your fw:
cpconfig -> Secure Internal Communication
in your SmartDashboard
edit your fw object -> general properties -> communication (like you did in your setp 5)

To reset the sic between then management and the fw

or check #skI2688

The SIC reset failed on the FW with this error:

Reason: SIC Protocol Error [ SIC error no. 300 ].
Policy Fetch Failed
Failed to fetch policy from masters in masters file

now open you SmartDasboard
edit the fw object like I mentioned in my previous post:
-> general properties
-> communication (like you did in your step 5)
-> reset -> yes
-> enter the same password that you just used in the cpconfig utility on the fw
-> Initialize

Please search for skI2688 on:

Thanks, I think during the upgrade, my hosts file was blown away. I edited it, added the firewalls back in, then the sic_reset worked.

Thanks for the help!
