Default fwm fails after HFA install

Hi All
Sorry if this has been asked before of if the solutions is simple but I'm a bit new to this as the guy who used to look after it has recently left.
We are running CP NG R55 on a linux platform and have just tried to upgrade to HFA_18.
The upgrade seemed to go ok and a fw ver confirms that we're running R55 HFA_18, hotfix 771

Unfortunately, when I try to access any of the management clients from my PC I get rejected.

When I checked out the firewall and tried to run fwm, with any of the options, I get the error message:-
fwm: relocation error: /opt/CPfw1-R55/lib/libxrmverify.so: undefined symbol: _ZN7IPRange8SetRangeEmm

when I use the cpconfig command to check out administrators, I get the same error.

Any help or suggestions would be immensely appreciated!

Cheers
Scotty

It might be obvious but the only time I've seen this is when I forgot to reboot after the HFA install.

Hi Again
Yes we've rebooted a few times now:-) Always try that first :-)

The output from echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH looks like:

/opt/CPfw1-R55/lib : /opt/CPfw1-R55/lib : /opt/CPshrd-R55/lib

Thanks in advance

Scott

Sounds like a bad install.

First do an upgrade_export and save the file on a different system.
Then try to reinstall the HFA.
If that doesn't work, rebuld the box + HFA and upgrade_import
