Check Point provides a number of utilities that assist in the process of upgrading your management and firewall modules from as early as FireWall-1 4.1 SP5 to recent versions of NG. As of this writing, Check Point has utilities that assist with upgrading to NG FP3, NG AI R54, and NG AI R55. Experience has shown that these utilities work reasonably well provided you follow the instructions provided by Check Point.
