Default SecPlat hfa 18 R55i

Hello, guys i tried to upgrade a hfa17 r55i sec platform, but it finished correctly asking for a reboot.
I did the reboot, and nothing works anymore, if i type a "fw" command i receive no answer.
am i doing something wrong?
i did a gunzip and tar, after i did a ./install_etc following the next screen and after complete without error i did a reboot.
I'm using the "expert" profile, and no space problem on /var/upgradeRepository.
How can i solve this?
ciao

Do you see errors in log files /var/log/messages, /var/log/dmesg, /var/log/boot.log?
