Default Database migration from Provider 1 to Smartcenter Manager

Hello all,

I am currently trying to migrate our existing CP FW1 4.1 modules off of our Provider 1 server in preparation for an upgrade to R61. In doing so, I have created 2 new Smartcenter Managers.

On the first one I have sucessfully migrated the object.C and policies from Provider 1 to the new mgmt server. I have opened Smartdashboard and found all objects and rules in place. The issue I now have is that there were a few users and groups on the cma and I have not been able to migrate these across.

The issue I am running into is that certain objects have not been created on the new management server, which caused the fwm dbimport -f to fail. I have searched on the production cma and could not find the objects that are supposedly missing. The groups were created manually as they too were causing an issue as they were not available.

I did delete some of the entries in the fwauth.ndb file, but don't know what kind of issue this may cause. The ones that are giving me problems at the moment were listed as source and/or destination on the users file. Would removing the offending entries corrupt the file?

Any help would be appreciated.

Jose
