Policy install fails "failed to read database files"

Anybody seen this before? Policy installed yesterday, but not today. Did a cpstop, cpstart, did not resolve the issue.

Enforcement gateway that reports to a central console


Memory, cpu and diskspace all look great. There is also no database revisioning so not much to fall back on.

Fixed my own issue, had to do a cpstop and cpstart on the central smartcenter server housing the policy files, once that was done policies pushed without a hitch.
