Default Ngx R60

Seeking help installing this product please. I have a system with fresh install 2003 server standard and 2 nics (ext & int).

Installing SecurePlatform NGX R60 from CD:
4. Install SecurePlatform or SecurePlatform Pro? I have just a 20 user, 1 DC, 1 member server, a Exchange Server and this new install system in my domain. Any opinions?
6. Network Interface Configuration. Should external ip-gateway-dns addresses be the ones ISP supplies? Should internal be something like ip-192.168.0.x, gateway-external IP address and dns-external?
7. HTTPS Server Configuration. Is this like a SOHO router allowing me to config settings online?

Any help appreciated.

Just to be sure that you know, Secure Platform is an operating system, not the firewall program. From your description, it appears that you are trying to install Secure Platform on top of Windows.

What Lackie said. SecurePlatform is Checkpoint's Linux OS.

Most likely.

The NIC leading to your interior should be your address scheme, gateway for your LAN, and internal DNS if you have one.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I am trying to learn on the fly. Just took over this position and this is what I have to implement. Both Secure Platform and Secure Platform Pro are Linux base OS?

Sounds like another Linux base OS/software base firewall in SmoothWall. Is this product GUI base?

What would the problem be if I got the following message:
No valid devices were found to create a new file system

Does this mean the hard drive? I was trying to install SecurePlatform anf got all the way to step 7 (HTTPS Server Configuration/Port 443). when this screen came up. Any suggestion?

I think that SPLAT doesn't find hard disk drivers. Check "Device list" and use "Add driver" menu.

And check that your hardware is compatibility with SPLAT.
