Default Upgrade Mgmt Server to R60, leave cluster members at R54

I've taken over a new contract and would like to upgrade the management server from R55 to R60. The two members of the FW cluster are both running R54. The two members will be upgraded at a later time.

The management server is a windows2000 box and the cluster members are splat.

Has anyone done this before or have any tips? We are anxious to get the management server to R60 as there is an agent we want to install ASAP.

Thanks

Having an R60 Management and an R54 firewall will work. R60 will manage anything from FP3 and up, just need the backward compatability package installed.

I'm just not sure how the licenses will work if you have a central license.

You need to keep the NGAI licenses for the gateways and upgrade the management licenses.
