It takes some hundred MBytes, it's not good idea to send it by mail. For downloading you need only to complete registration form. Also you can create your own vmware SPLAT machine without any problem.

you might have some problems buliding a splat vmware image. i've found if the progress indicator hangs at about 18-19% then its going to crash. the options i've found to work are... define a legacy virtual machine other 2.6.x linux kernel 256m memory 8gb hard disk space (IDE) It's not an exact science but this worked for me last time when i built an R60 secureplatform image

well to be completely honest... the settings I got to work were completely random! I'd tried for hours to make one work and they all seemed to randomly crash and fail miserably! But when I finally got one that worked I scribbled down the settings and burnt a copy of it and tucked it away in a safe place :)

Hi all, i have just create a VM iso with R65 (no HFA sorry). This is a fresh install with French Kbd for some test with eventia and maybe more. Basicly what i have done: I used as hardrive the *.vdk from secure plateform R60, create the vm in a new directory and i boot on the CD R65. My setting are: linux 2.4.x kernel 256 RAM 8 g then i edit the *.vmx file to be used with the renamed hardrive in *R65* something with the good directory path. Not really proper but i had no time to search more. And it's seems to work.
