I have the courseware book from my colleague (he was in the training).
I do not impressed. A lot of screenshots, no theory at all. I have seen all the courseware from the time of 4.0. Books get worst and worst.
Yeh may be it is good for startuper, but if you understanding what are you doing, and what the firewall is.
I think it is much better to read he official documentation. Personal I prefer online hpl chapters vs PDF file. Pictures in not scaled down and much better navigation.

hi sergej if u have the ngx training material can u pls give it to me. cause i am a total starter to checkpoint. cisco student guides are awesome . have u worked on cisco products and gone through cisco student guides they are very good in theory . see ya .waiting for ur mail

hi buddy even i have all the official checkpoint press books. but they are all on NG. they have not released any new material on ngx in the checkpoint press. these new material are only available with ATCS;does anyone have that. any newmaterial on ngx by checkpoint. i have the new syngress book on checkpoint ngx but it's not as good as the official material.

I have a copy of the official training manual, is not that good as Sergej said best thing is pdf and any white papers and hands in a lab or at work, I am willing to post a copy in exchange for a NSA manual Nokia Security Administrator manual, if any one is willing let me know I have to trade as we will bothe have to pay for post.

There are PDF's for the 1.0 versions of the courseware (unfortunatelly not the 1.1 version, at least I haven't found them yet).
I have the CCSA, CCSE, CCSE+, Provider-1 and VSX books and find them extremely usefull during work :)

I am working in the project where checkpoint is installed on Nokia IP 300 appliance. If anybody has pdf or docs please share.
