Default Check Point R65 in open EA

Folks I was just got an e-mail that Enfield, Check Point R65 is available to customers with a support contract in an open EA:

The NGX Enfield EA Program is now available in Check Point User Center under Evaluation > Early Availability.

New features include integrated content filtering and bridge-mode gateways

... i wish i had anything intelligent to comment on this ... actually i can think of a question . Is there any solution out there that can dynamically feed a firewall with with a list of URLs ( web sites ) , so that the admin can configure the firewall to block access to this URLs. ? Somethink like a blastlist for URLs ?. A recommendation for an UFP ?

The content filtering is a category based feed, so the list is updated every few hours. Is that what you're looking for?

Well, it's "almost" available. I registered, I show as "registered", activated the license, and tried to download it.

not exist in the system or you are not entitled to access it.

I am just asking generally what UFP products do you use. I am not referring specifically to the new CP release.

What do you mean by "content filtering"? Inbound checking of traffic, outbound keyword blocking of emails or what?

That phrase has always seemed to me to be way too broad in what it could cover.

Ok so your taunting worked...it convinced me to download it and try it...I registered ok but am unable to download. I get the same error that RayPesek got. No feedback for me. :(

It worked for me the next day, so I suspect there's some manual acknowledgment needed. There's no Windows SmartCenter download available yet, so I haven't been able to try it.

I queried the EA mailing list as to when the Windows SmartCenter version would be available. I was told it will not be available from the User Center EA section, but they could provide it to me as an FTP download.

So if you're waiting for it to show up, it won't and you'll have to request it.
