Check Point to Acquire NFR Security

Announced today, Check Point is buying (with all the US gov approvals in place this time) IDS/IPS company NFR Security (see: http://www.checkpoint.com/acquisitio...ml#nfrsecurity)

Which time it didnt have an approval ?

Last year CHKP announced that it was buying SourceFire and that got killed by the US Gov. This was all during the time that Dubi (sic) was awarded the contract to run ports in the US. Big ugly political mess and really bad timming for Check Point

I am under the impression that US doesn't like much CP or is it only the US gov ?

SourceFire was held up by the FBI and the Air Force. Everyone else is a Check Point customer.
