Eventia reporter fails to communicate with Smartcenter server

Hi

I have smartcenter NGXR65 intstalled on IPSO4.2 while i have eventia reporter(NGXR63) installed on Windows 2003 OS.Each time i try to connect to the eventia reporter server from SmartDashboard, i get this message "fails to initialize communication with Eventia Reporter Server, check the server is running".This is after trust has been established between the smartcenter server and the Reporter object i created on the smartconsole.

Pls i'm in dire need of a solution.
