Default R65 Eventia Reporter ActiveX problems

Just installed R65 Eventia analyzer and reporter. Rebuilt from scratch. Everything seems to be working fine but I cannot open the reporter GUI.
I get the error
"Cannot run since the Eventia Reporter ActiveX component is either corrupt or not registered (E90046)"

Any ideas? I tried disabling my anti virus and re-installing the GUI to see if that was blocking the Active X installation but it made no difference.

remove Smart Console and any plugins from the machine and reinstall a new copy of Smart Console.
