I know there are many people who have used fwlogsum as a nice log analysis tool. I cant get it to work. I run it against an exported file (in text format) and the resulting report hase X number of entries processed and thats it. No other info. What am i doing wrong?? Does anyone know how to use this tool?

What command line syntax are you using to run fwlogsum? Also, exactly how were the logs exported? If you have got an exported log file, use a command like: ./fwlogsum -l ./ExportedLogFile.log -o outputFile.html Also, you will need to use "fwm logexport" to export the log files. Exports from the tracker will be in a slightly different format so will not work. Last edited by JeffN; 2007-07-10 at 18:00. Reason: Correcting syntax

Ah....I was using it on logs I exported out of the Tracker. I did a fwm logexport and it works. Still cant get it to run against a *.log file using the -L switch but. Doesnt matter for now I just needed to run a report. THanks.
