Default eventia reporter content edit

Hi all,

Im new here, but I am already asking for your help on something. I have a problem when I try to edit a content on some of the standard reports.

I mean I select a standard report and then I select the Content tab and there I choose one from the list. Then I press the edit button but the editing screen does not open. It just draws the borders of the screen like it was lagging a lot, but even if I wait a loooong time the screen never appears. Any ideas ?

Eventia is installed on w2k3 environment, distributed installation.

Is it possible you don't have RW access to the EVR?

I would try this...

1. Uninstall the SmartClients
2. delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Check Point SmartConsole R{version}
3. Install SmartClients

Try again.

I do have RW access to it. Im sure. You can't even push the edit button if you do not have RW access.

Hmm, ill test it on some other computer before reinstalling. But I will try that also.

I found a solution to the problem I was having.

The Content edit button does show the window after I have removed or added only the products we are using to the Filter tab.

If I have not done this only the window borders are displayed when I click the Content Edit button on the Content tab. If I do the trick, it works nicely.
