Eventia Setup - Splat? Minimum Requirements

I am looking for some advice on Eventia Setup. I have clustered Nokia IP 380's with a Windows Smartcenter Server running R55 Express and Smartview Reporter. I want to upgrade to R62 UTM and Eventia. The recommendation was to run Eventia on Splat. I have have less than 500 users. Is Eventia so resource intensive that its going to need to be on its own server? The box I currently have is a Compaq DL360 G4(dual 2.8's), 2GB RAM, 2 -36GB 15K HD's mirrored. Does the Smartview Reporter NG license upgrade to Eventia?

That should work fine unless your logs are really crazy, but you should consider upgrading to SPLAT for your SmartCenter, it will save you all of the windows overhead.

Yes it does as long as its on support and you are only talking about Eventia Reporter and not the Suite (EVR & EVA).

4 GB of RAM would be better. Also, R65 would be better. R65 Eventia is much more robust than all previous versions.
