Eventia Reporter Database Server Will Not Start

I have a ditributed environment - Smartconsole and log server on one server and eventia reporter on a stand alone server.

The service eventia db service is not starting - I recieve a generic windows error - unexpected error starting.

In the checkpoint eventia logs:
lc_rt log I have the following:
[17 Oct 10:52:02][LogConsolidator] Error: failed to run log_consolidator -L

[17 Oct 10:52:02][LogConsolidator] ### log_consolidator -L exit with error (code 3)

[17 Oct 11:03:57][LogConsolidator] Error: failed to to get password for connection RT_Database, reason: Connection failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

[17 Oct 11:03:57][LogConsolidator] Error:failed to get database access information

[17 Oct 11:03:57][LogConsolidator] Error: failed to run log_consolidator -L

[17 Oct 11:03:57][LogConsolidator] ### log_consolidator -L exit with error (code 3)

[17 Oct 11:29:28][SVRServer] Eventia Reporter Server is initializing...
[17 Oct 11:29:31][SVRServer] Eventia Reporter Server has successfully received the updated objects from SmartCenter Server '172.22.77.103'.
[17 Oct 11:29:52][] failed connecting to server, error code - 10060
[17 Oct 11:36:06][SVRServer] Eventia Reporter Server shutting down.
[17 Oct 11:36:14][SVRServer] Eventia Reporter Server is initializing...
[17 Oct 11:36:17][SVRServer] Eventia Reporter Server has successfully received the updated objects from SmartCenter Server '172.22.77.103'.


Has anyone come across this problem. Any info is much appriaciated.....
