Default SmartView Reporter R55 is not available for download

Hi all,

I would like to download the SmartView Reporter R55 from Check Point portal but unable to do so since it is not available anymore for download. Has Check Point discontinued the availability of R55? I'm really want to download the software.

Thanks,

Regards,

Al

You need original R55 CD without HFA. There aren't SmartView Reporter R55 on later wrappers or on CDs with integrated HFA.

SVR for R55 doesn't work what you want (Covered by the same license) is SVR R56

Hmmm.... Do you mean the SVR R55 is not 'working properly' with SmartCenter NG AI R55?

I mean I was told by a support person not to use it, its too broken (DB problems from what I understand).

I think you're right.. not only the DB but I noticed the internal DB operation such as moving and import record or tables also doesn't work! The worst is after running sometime, I couldn't access to SmartView Reporter GUI anymore! Log Consolidator is still running though. Hmmm....

If you are a reporter user I strongly recomend moving to R60/R61 and Eventia Reporter. It's a lot better than SVR was.
