Default Alternatives to Eventia?

Has anyone heard of any open source monitoring tools similar to Eventia? All I am really interested in is optimizing our top-down order and providing some basic historical reports.

take a look at fwanalyzer.com, one of my current customers didnt want to spend a small fortune on eventia reporter (35k)

so instead they spent 3500 on the manage engine product(20 firewalls) Although I wish I could get good reporting software like firegen for cisco for the checkpoint platform...

Hi Joker

We're using fwlogsum and are very happy with it.

I wrote a script, that logs in (via ssh) to the management-host, does a logexport, copies the logexport to another host and then starts fwlogsum.

With a cron-job I now create 3 reports every day.. (accepted traffic, drops&rejects, attacks)...
The only thing I had to do on the management-server was to create a local user. (no software installation.. )

Best wishes, Manuel
