SmartView Reporter distributed installation required separate license?

Hi all,

I just wonder and I want to set up a distributed installation of SmartView Reporter, do I need a separate licenses for this? I have a license which is additive to the management server. Thanks very much.

You don't need separate license. Attach your existing license to object SmartCenter.
Don't forget that for distributed installation you need to install add-on on your SmartCenter.

Hi,

Just want to confirm, my log server is in the same machine as the SmartCenter. So, by right the SmartView Reporter server able to retrieve logs from SmartCenter for processing without required a log server installed together with SmartView Reporter, am I right?

SmartCenter with log server on one server and Reporter on another one is a common configuration. You don't need log server on Reporter server.
