Default Total Security Client

Hello,

does somebody have experience with the new Total Security Client R70?
I just wanted to try the evaluation version, but after installing, some features like Firewall, Programm Control are missing at the user GUI.
Tryed it nearly ten times also with other certificates and profile settings, but it failed.

Platform:
XP Prof. SP3 running on VM Ware Server 1.0.6
.NET 2.0 installed

Sounds like you don't have a CPES server configured. First import the msi into the server and then deploy from there. Or download the package from the server convert to msi and deploy using the Deployment Utility.

You can download the lastest CPES 7.0 HFA1 server from CP download site either today or Monday.

Hi!

I thought for the evaluation there would be no need to install all the needed application servers around. The eval. has also a msi. package for the secure access component on the installation CD. I know, it doesn't make sense without all the stuff around, but I thougt the eval will show all features on the client site.

I will try it out with the server installation the next days and post the result.

thx a lot

HFA1 for the server may not be avaliable from the user center. But you can get the Current GA server version and test using that.
