Hi Everyone, As per Integrity 6, 6.5, and the recent Endpoint Security (Integrity 7) documentations I found that none of them provide agents for Server OS (Win2K, Win2K3, Linux ...). However, I myself have installed Integrity 6, and 6.5 agents on Windows Server 2003 Ent. servers and it's performed pretty much OK (the LABs of Check Point Integrity's courseware are all based on Win2K3 Server and you do not install agents on XP there!) So now I'm wondering if any of you guys have gone through the same experience or have any comments regarding this? Thanks Ilmaz __________________ Ilmaz S.Kashkooli (Kory)

It is unsupported in a production environment. There was thought of providing server-certified agents in 6.5 that would perform some Host-based intrusion prevention. However this does not appear to be the case currently. I have not tried it personally.

It will work just fine, but the feature set is not what is normally needed on a production server. On the other hand Check Point does have a full featured firewall for servers called "Secure Server". This is an implementation of FW-1 or VPN-1 with routing disabled. You get the the full Firewall, VPN and SmartDefense. List price is US$800 for the FW and US$1000 for VPN-1. Standard discounts apply.
