| Hi Everyone, First of all I'd like to thank the founders and the admins of CPUG for setting up such a useful environment for Check Point related fellows to exchange ideas :) Well here's the issue that I'm facing: As of now that I've deployed Integrity agents on my client PCs, however, now that I'm trying to install the my antivirus software which is FSecure AV, I get an errors message which states that the existing Integrity client software is somehow preventing the FSecure software to be installed on that machine. This is the erros message: "The Launcher service has reported an error. 0 Setup error: One of the mandatory products cancelled the installation. (If you see this message frequently, please contact your administrator.) (The installation is canceled by component F-Secure Conflict Detection and Removal Module. Error reported: Failed to remove conflicting software. Installation cannot continue. Please contact your system administrator or F-Secure Support. : Cisco VPN Client Fire) " I'd highly appreciate your kind feedbacks on the following in case you've faced the same issue or you know the concept behind it. Thanks in Advance, Ilmaz (a.k.a KORY) __________________ Ilmaz S.Kashkooli (Kory) |

| Are you running the Cisco VPN client? If so try an upgrade to that. The Cisco client has an unmanaged version of Integrity included and there have been many conflicts with it in the past. |

| FSecure & Integrity play nice AFAIK. If he product has a firewall do not install that with Integrity. The error message is not a Check Point message. It is generated by FSecure. Their website may hold keys to the issue. I would also google it. It would be the course of wisdom to find the root cause of the message before going on. having said that there are some things to try. 1. Change the order of installation. AV first then Integrity. 2. Shutdown the Integrity client and try install. 3. If desperate rename driver in safemode reboot and install. HtH |

| Thanks for the feedack, Yeah in fact I just simulated the scenario in my LAB and here is the result:
So, consequently what I found seems to say that first install the F-Secure (off course you should select the F-Secure components that is only the AV) Regards, __________________ Ilmaz S.Kashkooli (Kory) |
