Default Re: 7.5?

That is anybodies guess...

7.0Ga should be out in a couple of weeks. The sys requirement docs show that it certified to 20K endpoints.

7.0 will have HA in the form of warm fail over. you can add one or more standby servers. The End Point Security Server (Integrity) automatically pushes changes to the standby server/s.

7.0 clients have a mini load balancer built in. When a 7.0 HA server is added, all clients are notified. The notification mechanism is called the Server List. This is essentially the topology of the network of Integrity servers. For the 7.0 release, the list contains a list of the the active and standby servers.

The Server List is also the place where Office Awareness rules are. Office Awareness means that if the primary server goes down the endpoints are not disconnected because if other rules are matched then the endpoint is aware that it is still on the local lan.

In 7.5 Connection Point servers will be added which act as proxy servers between the End Point and the Server. The proxies will allow scaling past the existing 20k endpoint limit of 7.0.
