Default Updating clients from IAS

We have been quite happy upgrading IA clients and Flex clients by the use of enforcement rules in the enterprise policy. There are a couple of situations though that I wanted to check were feasible as there is no specific mention of these scenarios in the documentation:

1) Changing the client type from Agent to Flex and vice versa. Is this possible ?

2) In the event of a newer version of Integrity client having an issue that has escaped our UAT, is it possible to revert the client to an earlier version ? The enforcement rule just checks that the version 'Is at least....'. can the system be fooled into doing the downgrade ?

I guess my next step would be to have a more detailed play but I just wanted to fire this one past everyone in case problems have been experienced.

Anyone tried this ???

Good questions.
To change a client from IA to Flex can be done with a config.xml and running iclient. I will send you the xml when I find it.

The other question is interesting. I will need to examine that before commenting.
