Default RIP

I have two firewalls in a site to site with a cisco router behind each. I need to get rip updates from one side to the other. I have tried VTI's but I do not seem to get the RIP update.

The routers connect to the internal interface of each firewall.

Any Idea on how to set this up ???

Default Re: RIP

The dynamic routing VPN doesn't support RIP.

If you really must run RIP rather then a proper routing protocol then you will need to build a GRE tunnel between the two routers and allow the GRE over the Check Point VPN.

This way the RIP Routers see each other as the next hop via the GRE tunnel.

Alternatively upgrade your Dynamic Routing protocol to OSPF and use the VTI's.
