Default how can i get the detailed pdf on backup and export utility

Hi all

how can i get the pdf which explains in depth how to take backup and restore it back in steps.

and also for the export and import command. all i know is what backup and export does but do not know how to run and restore it back

Hi
You can find all this detail in the Checkpoint userguide.
Also there are not much things , just you need to use the latest backup utilities and there are 2 commands, upgrade_export to take the backup and upgrade_import <filename> to restore the backup.

If you want more details regarding disaster recovery you can follow the Checkpoint book.
