| Hi, I've got a Checkpoint FW1 wich is installed on Windows 2000. I want to backup my configuration but I don't know how I can do that. A friend told me that there is a backup utility stored on the FW1 directory but I don't found it, and I don't want to make a mistake. Thank you. Cris |

| Check Point Software: SmartCenter Tools) (the top link) and download the Windows version of the upgrade checker archive. In the archive is a file named upgrade_export.exe Run it from a command prompt on your Windows SmartCenter after all of the GUIs are closed. It will create a .tgz file that contains everything you need to rebuild your SmartCenter. Make sure you copy the file off to a safe, secure place and run it whenever you make changes. I do it weekly at a minimum. HTH, RAy |
