Default R60_HFA_03 on SPLAT and remote backup problem

Does anyone noticed problems with backup scheduling on SPLAT R60_HFA_03 SmartCenter Server? Backups via scp should be done using "backup_util sched" as saved in cron file. But it doesn't work. Typing "backup sched" works perfectly from command line - file is done and transferred to remote backup machine.
Any ideas?

Check logs /var/log/messages and /var/log/secure.
Do you see errors in it?

Messages on SCS say: "admin: BACKUP operation failed. Details: Failed to transfer the package to the remote servers", and on sshd server authentication failure occured.

It's strange. I tried sometimes backup --scp --sched without problems.
Did you send the error from /var/log/messages file? May be this file has more detalied error's description.
In any case, imho, you can try to debug session from server side or edit crontab and try to backup by "x x x * * backup -d --scp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx user pass"

Maybe check /var/log/CPbackup.elg for some more clues on what's going wrong.

maybe little bit offopic but I would check if this exists:

have a look in /var/CPsnapshot/tmp/ sometimes there's a tmp file inside called something like "backup_utility.tmp" if this file exists the scheduled backupjobs or snapshots do not run, deleteting the file fixes the problem...by the way I'll do this every week :(

Hello to all.
I have the following problem.
When I enter:
backup -d --sched on 14:15 -m 24 --scp 172.30.181.18 username password -path /data/backup

If I enter:
# crontab-e
I see:

15 14 24 * * backup_util sched

but the backup command is not execute.

If I run backup ---scp 172.30.181.18 username password -path /data/backup
the command backup is execute!

Where's the error?
