Default NAT PAT : Crossbeam or checkpoint neede

Hi,

If you only need NAT and PAT rules, can the Crossbeam do that on its own or do you need to install CheckPoint ?

thanks

If you only needed to NAT as not worried about what goes through the box then I would use a Cisco Router to do this rather then buying a Crossbeam box.

Because of performances. But I would need to know if COS can deal with NAT like a router does, or if you need to have Checkpoint to deal with NAT.

Cheers

You would need the Check Point still.

If u need only NAT PAT.... a normal SOHO router can do that already... lol

Any linksys home router will do that too... the cheapest crossbeam (C2) is still close to 2.5k USD, without checkpoint... you are very rich to buy that do do NAT PAT.... wow

hi,

i think could have 2 reasons
- maybe performance (but i'm not sure about it :) )
- as i posted in section NAT CP seems not to be able o is really tricky to nat n:m..i mean

real src = x.x.x.x/8, y.y.y.y/24 dst = any
natted src = z.z.z.z/27 dst = any

Das
