Default Suggestions for Conference

Wanted to start a new thread for suggestions to the conference.

One thing that I've seen at other conferences that I thought was valuable is a "Birds of a Feather" type of thing. Basically you have a Birds of a Feather announcement board, and people can write down something like "Anybody doing in depth monitoring of their Nokia boxes and Check Point via SNMP with Nagios". Folks can then write thier names down if they're interested, and when there's sufficient interest (3+ people or something) then you provide a conference room and post it as an ad-hoc new session.

The new ad-hoc session would be posted in the same location that you put new sessions, changed rooms, etc.

Does the above make sense? I know at the AS/400 User's conference COMMON they end up with 5-10 sessions after-hours that way. More niche type of sessions.

This sounds like a good idea. Consider it added to the conference.
