| I afraid I cannot participate at CPUG CON. The reason is: I know from my trips to the US that I need about 8 days to feel good in the US. I suffer from head ache the first three days. Becaus CPUG CON is not extended to a week, I have to travel a week earlier to the US. My boss would not allow me to do so. Are you planning on CPUG CON EUROPE 2008? If you, don't hesitate to contact me. I could ask several persons if we could rent a hall. I suppose that this will not be a problem. I would like to know, if there are any information available on the Experience 2007 in Ramat-Gan! Kind regards, Yasushi |

1. Easy to get to. A major city? The geographic center of our European members is probably in western Germany. Berlin? Amsterdam? Munich? 2. I apologize that I only speak English (and some Brazilian Portuguese), so I'd need to be able to negotiate the hotel/meeting hall business in English. I suspect I could do this in most major cities. What ideas do you have about this? Where would be a good place to hold this meeting? Barry |

| Best place? may depend on where the most CPUG members come from. Is it possible to implement a voting system in this forum? First lets collect some suggestions and later on vote for the location. btw: I would vote for Germany. Either Munich or Frankfurt. Both cities have major airports and/or are good reachable by train. |

On the one hand, the bigger cities might be natural draws, but smaller ones might be cheaper. Click on the "Map of Site Visitors" image at the top of every page here in the discussion board and see the map of where IP addresses are coming from. |

| In my opinion Munich will be the city of choice. Bigger, fancier, but more expensive! But Frankfurt is also good choice as well! In both cities I could ask people for renting a hall. So, before doing that, we have to estimate the number of people expected. And it would also be nice to have some of the representitaves of Check Point /USA as well as Israel (Gil Shwed?) for the opening session. The European guys who are interested in joining CPUG CON EUROPE should then vote between Frankfurt or Munich. As far as both mentioned cities are involved, I could ask some people who could help renting a hall. For those, who decide to go to Frankfurt: In Germany there are two cities with the same name. The city I am talking about is Frankfurt/Main (Main is the river crossing the city of Frankfurt) and not Frankfurt/Oder. Kind regards, Yasushi Last edited by Yasushi Kono; 2007-01-28 at 02:27. |

| I thought also about the point "fun city". And (sorry I dont want to insult anyone) Frankfurt isnt the most lovely city here. But Munich will be very interesting for all. So, Munich is my choice. Yasushi, let me know if you need any help. |

| Check Point Germany is located closed to Munich. So, some represenatives of Check POint Germany could attend this event! Good idea! What could you do to help me? Any useful hints are highly appreciated! Kind regards, Yasushi |

| Hi Efdsa, we encountered some problems getting sponsors in Germany to organize a such great event. We just have to wait a couple of weeks to get any further information on sponsoring. I am in contact with a company who might sponsor the event. It looks well. We will see... Kind regards, Yasushi |
