Default How to add text to the end of the e-mail subject line?

In the SMTP resource properties under the Action1 tab, I know there is an option to specify a specific field and contents boxes to configure how you want the contents edited, but I am unsure of the syntax in terms of the regular expression to use or even the fields, will 'subject' in the field simply suffice etc...?

I basically just wish to append a tag to the end of all e-mails that pass through the cvp server used in this smtp resource with a simple [scanned], but from what the regular expression help file examples show, there is only a way to replace the subject rather than append. I have tried various entries but the mail arrives without any changes. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.
