| How do I restart the SMTP Security Server Mail Queue Easiest way is to bounce the firewall (cprestart in NG, fwstop;fwstart in 4.1 and earlier). You should also be able to run 'fw mdq' and the queue should retry. Sometimes this will not work and you will have to kill the mdq process, which will cause mdq to restart. Sometimes, the mail queue will not restart due to a message getting "stuck" in the queue. See the following FAQ: EmailStuckSMTPSecurityServer You can also set the "retry" time by setting the resend_period in %FWDIR%\conf\smtp.conf (it's in seconds) so that you do not have to manually flush the queue. -- PhoneBoy - 31 Dec 2003 FAQForm FAQs.Class: ContentSecurityFAQs, TroubleshootingFAQs OperatingSystem?: FAQs.Version: |
