Default Problem with FTP Security Server

I need help with this weird FTP problem I am having.
FTP outbound without a security server works fine from command line FTP and browser or app.
FTP outbound with security server works with command line FTP but not with browser or app.
I have tried changing browser/app from PASV to Active - no change.
I tried changing the rule to use FTP_Basic - no change.
I have disabled XP firewall - no change.
I booted to a basic install of XP (BartPE) - no change.
Also the failed FTP connections do not show in the firewall logs.

Packet capture from Browser/App show the following:

XP FTP
>SYN
<SYN,ACK
>ACK
<RESPONSE
>ACK
then timesout

Packet capture from Command Line show the following:

XP FTP
>SYN
<SYN,ACK
>ACK
<RESPONSE
>ACK
>REQUEST
etc ...

Any ideas?

Did you try the correct syntax from command line which is:

user: anonymous@Thomas@IP_FTP_SERVER
pass: anonymouspassword@Thomaspassword
????

there is no user prompt to respond to - stops at the ACK after the response.

I think you may have moved into ticket territory.

Call TAC and they should be able to help you. If you don't have a support contract call your reseller.
