When is HTTP Next Proxy used?



If HTTP Next Proxy is specified and your clients use FireWall-1 as a proxy (i.e. they set the firewall as the "proxy" server in the browser or your proxy server uses FireWall-1 as a proxy server), then it will. For HTTP connections that simply pass through the firewall, it will not use the HTTP Next Proxy except in the case where it is proxy traffic. See RequestToProxyOtherThanNextProxy.
