Default AD integration with R66

I am trying to setup AD(LDAP) integration using Connectra locally managed gateways. I am using 30 days EVAL license which I generated for myself from Checkpoint.

If anyone has working example, please kindly share. This was previously working on R62. Error message I have is 'unknown users'.

Under 'Authentication', you need to create a new object under 'LDAP Account Units':

General -

Select the 'Microsoft_AD' profile.

Server -

Create an object for your Active Directory server with a 'Login DN' similar to this:

CN=UserName,OU=OrganizationUnitNameIfNeeded,DC=Dom ainName,DC=com

Objects Management -

Select your AD server object and 'Add...' the branch(es):

DC=DomainName,DC=com

Authentication -

I selected 'Check Point Password' as the allowed authentication schemes and as the 'Default authentication scheme' under 'Users' default values' to make it work.

How did you generate the evaluation license? I have 8 days left from the initial install. I contacted Check Point and I haven't been replied yet. Thanks!

Not to worry. I got this working in the test lab.

You will need to ask your CCSP partner to provide you and eval license.

Cheers.
