Default Connectra

About 6 months ago, I / my office, invested in Checkpoint's Connectra.

So far it has been a good investment.

My main problem is, that I have searched the internet op and down, for some Q and A about Connectra, but no luck.

It can not be, that I’m the only one that has bought the product.

I have two questions and I would be very happy if somebody could make at comment.

1.
Fore some users, that use windows roaming profiles, and the profile got corrupted, the Clientless Integrity Security Scan will not run and it is not enough to delete the profile, you have to delete the user, to get it to work again. This can not be true. Is there at way out of this?

2.
One of my new users connected to the gateway and the Clientless Integrity Security Scan worked fine, but he had an IE ver. 5.0 so he had to opgrade to ver 6.0 and the Clientless Integrity Security Scan stopped working. Same question. Is there a way around this??

I would be glad for any response.

Regards

Hilmar

Did you upgrade you Connectra to the NGX?
You can always ask advanced questions to the CheckPoint support under www.checkpoint.com/sr I guess you service contract is not expired?

I've had the ActiveX control get corrupted a few times. Tools-Internet Options-Settings button-View objects button

Delete the ICS ones and then it reloads and runs fine.

sebastan_bach,

Connectra and SNX are different! Connectra is a Web Security Gateway, providing SSL for VPN access, integrated endpoint security with Integrity and application security (MCP).

A. No. That's not correct. With SNX you can configure SSL VPNs.

and if yes can i integrate them with imtegrity and interspect .
A. You have native integration with Integrity using Connectra. In fact, you have a totally new product.
I didn't mention Interspect.

I hope this info can help you.

Hi,

No. I don't think you can have all the features you mentioned w/o Connectra.
