Default Connectra NGX R62 config into SC NGX R65

Hi all -

We got a Connectra NGX R62 box running back when we were still running NG R55 on the Smart Center server. So all the management for Connectra was doen through the we admin interface. I have since upgraded the SC server to NGX R65. I have created a connectra object, and got SIC established, along with logging working correctly. However all the configuration in R65 is blank for the Connectra tab. Does anyone know how to import the configuration already running on the Connectra box into my Smart Dashboard. We also have a Verisign certificate that I would like to get moved over so we can stop managing the Connectra box via the web interface. Moving to the Smart Dashboard would make things easier.

Thanks.

You will need the Connectra R62CM package. In that are the release notes that tell you how to import your configuration. It's a pretty involved process. PLEASE back up (snapshot) your connectra before you start this process.

FYI: The Connectra - New Link Translation patch does yet not work with R62CM. You better wait with the transfer until they fixed the new link translation for it.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I actually tried it out, but I also need the SC SmartDirectory LDAP licesne to manage ldap groups for Connectra. I was able to revert back, so now I am running R62 again.
